The seminar focused on providing basic knowledge on all aspects of packaging.

SID took the opportunity to present the institute, its research activities and the services and products it offers to the interested participants of the seminar. This offer was gladly accepted.

The speaker, Prof. Dr.-Ing. Eugen Herzau, head of the Packaging Technology and Sustainability program at HTWK Leipzig, and Kim Cheng, Managing Director of the Deutsches Verpackungsinstitut e. V., were very pleased with the event. As could be heard in many cases, the opportunity for direct exchange was extensively used.
