SIG Science Talk: Funding Opportunities for SMEs – Investing in the Future

An online event series of the Sächsische Industrieforschungsgemeinschaft e. V.

There are numerous funding programs for SMEs to finance research and development projects. In order to quickly transform new scientific discoveries into marketable products or technologies, cooperation between SMEs and research institutions is particularly encouraged by the Free State of Saxony or the federal government.

About the Sächsische Industrieforschungsgemeinschaft e. V. (SIG):

The Sächsische Industrieforschungsgemeinschaft e.V. (SIG) speaks with one voice for Saxony's non-profit external industrial research institutions. SIG was founded in Dresden in 2014 to pool these strengths in Saxony. It currently has 18 members. With its wide-ranging research spectrum in Saxony, the research association strengthens transfer-oriented, market-preparatory research in the interests of Saxony's SMEs. On the one hand, the focus is on Saxony's industries of the future, such as materials, technology and process development, and on the other hand, it always has its finger on the pulse of key social challenges such as resource efficiency and environmental compatibility.
